The health and well-being of our members is our number one priority.  We are taking a calculated and phased approach with the reopening of LECOM Medical Fitness & Wellness Center with your safety in mind.

As a certified medical fitness facility, we already adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols that exceed industry standards.  Below is an outline of the other steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our members and the community.

Safety Protocols

• The facility will be open only to members. The children’s areas are closed.
• Temperature checks upon entry
• Facemasks are encouraged and will be worn by staff
• Extra hand sanitizer stations will be in place throughout
  

Cleaning Protocols

• Following CDC guidelines
• Continuous disinfection schedule for the center
• Enhanced after-hours cleaning and disinfecting
• Extra sanitizer wipes for cleaning equipment after every use

Social Distancing

• Capacity restrictions implemented based on state and local government
• Equipment limitations to encourage distancing
• Extra signs and space markings throughout the facility
• Limited lockers to encourage spacing
